CORE
One of HTH’s content areas is Personal/Social/Service (PSS). In this area, we look at respecting ourselves, working with others, serving our community, art and health. The one discipline rule we have, when we asked the kids what they want their school to look like, feel like, sound like, is ‘Culture of Respect for Everyone” (CORE). From this initial definition, students have helped create a CORE ladder, CORE court, CORE recognition forms, all tied to our PSS standards, which help create an atmosphere that is nice to work and learn in.
