Important state testing is coming up in April. Take some time to review this information. ATTENDANCE at testing is crucial and required in order for Highland Tech to move forward in its goals on achievement.

Parents: Please do everything in your power to encourage rest, hydration, proper nutrition, and other preparations for testing days. Testing strategies will be reviewed in advisory. In addition, academic practice will take place, as needed, in content classes.

TESTING DATES:
APRIL 1st SBA SCIENCE/ALL 8TH/10TH GRADERS
APRIL 6th SBA/HSGQE READING
APRIL 7th SBA/HSGQE WRITING
APRIL 8th SBA/HSGQE MATH

Those students who have already mastered the HSGQE or that section of the HSGQE are NOT required nor SHOULD THEY attend school on that day. A "senior" study hall is being arranged for some of that time so that students may have a place to be productive off campus. Details on that will be sent to you at a later time.
